Are You Out of Balance?

Are you taking on more than you can chew? How are you resetting your nervous system throughout the day? How are you maintaining your balance? 

I watched Youtube videos of tornadoes and flash floods in the South and Midwest of the United States. I saw the headlines that Israel killed 15 emergency workers in Gaza. I saw news coverage on DOGE, an immigrant deportation mistake, the stock market, tariffs, and some warning from TSA. With shallow breath and tight jaw, I saved all of this to my Watch Later playlist. 

For now, I kept scrolling until I found a new video of a beautiful song. With the song on repeat, I got up from my desk, stood at my windows, and raised my arms to the sheets of rain and grey clouds. Instantaneously, the sun broke through to brighten the top surface of every tree below me. I couldn’t believe my eyes as the treetops lit up green and yellow like an animated movie. 

I swayed back and forth as the Light poured through me. I took in so much Light, that I became a condensed channel of love, prosperity and health—all for me. 

Yes, the planet is in extremes and the humans in chaos. And yes, I have friends and family who are experiencing financial hardship, scary health conditions, fear and depression. But in this moment, when I reset, it is my turn. I am focused on me. I take it all in—the Light and the blessings. I feel empowered. It is my turn to enrich me. 

Make sure you stop the madness long enough each day to do your version of this. Just because the ship is sinking around you, doesn’t mean you have to go down with it. 

Your first job is to make sure you are bright. If you are rundown, how will you have health? Make clear decisions? Show up for others in your environment?
