As Many Leave Us
Dad’s Cool Fan
This time of year is so magical for me. Through the years, so many older people in my family have passed away in my birthday month of March. I feel their love and their presence with me. They help connect me to the higher realms of light. They bring magic to my earthly existence.
My birthday is on St Patty’s Day and my dad’s death anniversary is April 1. Profound and amazing things happen to me between those two dates. I am reminded that I am definitely not alone on this journey.
My dad was very connected to God with an active prayer life. His smile and love for life made everyone feel better. A few hours before he died, my sister said that Dad’s metal, pedestal fan stopped working in the night. That’s how she knew it was the end.
Last week, I ordered a fan for my apartment. I didn’t want anything plastic and I didn’t want anything low to the floor. So, I ended up with a metal, sea-foam colored, retro, pedestal fan. When it was delivered on March 28th, the date in 2021, when Dad was helicoptered to the hospital, I realized Dad’s cool fan lives on through his Pisces daughter.
I slept so well to its soft sound. Dad is with me.
As we are all aware, many are leaving the planet now. I am still wide-eyed from the reports coming in from Myanmar. To survive these times, we have to remember that, yes the tragedies shock our nervous system, but the people who died are now free.
To handle seeing our loved ones die, we have to let them go. We have to be in awe of their journey up through the clouds into the rays of sun.
In this Wednesday’s Waves,
I ask that we are able to roll with the extreme changes of the Earth.
May we let go gracefully as many leave us.
I pray that our connection to the Light is strengthened.
May we remember that we are invincible and eternal.
