Dreams Versus Happiness

Dreams donโ€™t bring lasting happiness, as we know.

They just bring the next goal or thing to fill our time. Dreams just become the next daily habits. They give us something to do here on earth to keep us busy and moving around.

For example, say, youโ€™ve always wanted a baby. Great. The moment you found out you were pregnant was a screaming, shouting, joyous, romping, sharing, hugging, feeling-blessed moment.

But, now, a few days later, you feel hormonal, nauseous, overwhelmed, inflamed, and exhausted while trying to think clearly through the new brain fog at work.

You may even feel resentful that others, like your husband, are still feeling great, while you sacrifice your body and all of the fun activities you loved just one week ago, like running, ab workouts, early morning Barre class, and socializing with your friends for hours at a brewery.

Suddenly, youโ€™re home alone taking another nap in isolation.

Yay! Dream come true.

Once our dreams are fulfilled, we, then, spend our time maintaining that dream. The pregnant woman has just launched herself into a life of servanthood and endless chores to keep that child growing and safe. This gives her purpose, but it becomes a new daily norm that can wear her down.

All dreams ultimately just become daily habits. We bring in daily tasks that get us to our goals, and we organize our lives around this to-do list required to maintain what we achieved.

Is this happiness?

Dreams are wonderful, donโ€™t get me wrong. One of my favorite games on Earth is to see if I can manifest anything that inspires me to feel more alive and awake. Manifesting my desires fills my days with endless curiosity and motivation.

But true and lasting happiness comes from a connection to the Light.

When we cultivate that stream of Light through us, it is a constantโ€”always there for us at any moment. Having a bad day? Go to the Light. Having a great day? Give thanks in the Light.

I believe in returning to the Light again and again daily, to refresh and strengthen our connection so that we are resilient. The Light fuels our energy field, giving it the buoyancy and buffer we need to roll along through life, without getting defeated or crushed.

The Divine Light is what keeps me laughing and un-phased by lifeโ€™s trials and hardships.

The goal of my Wednesday Wave is to share this way of life with you. When all goes wrong with our dreams, or we are having to ride out the ups and downs of the journey, the divine frequency keeps us afloat.

Earth is fun. Manifesting is fun. But itโ€™s a whole other realm down here when we are consistently being recharged by Divine Light. We start skimming along the surface of the waves instead of being plunged so far into the depths. Life feels easier, more special, and more like a miraclulous mystery.

Iโ€™ll โ€œseeโ€ a bunch of you this Wednesday to build our Light even further, so that we move through these times, untouched, like Angels on Earth.
