Hiding Our Super Powers

Have you ever noticed that no matter how spiritual your friends and family might be, you typically donโ€™t pray and visualize together?

Most of us get together to share stories and discuss problems that we are up against. This is called visiting or โ€œhanging out.โ€

Discussing our situations and life challenges can be helpful, especially if a friend turns out to have some good advice. But, often we leave these conversations feeling more stressed. This is because we stirred up the energy of the problem, but didnโ€™t lift it up to the divine.

If I were home alone, I would turn my stories into thanks and praise. I would turn my problems into prayers and visualizations. This simple step would move me into a state of trust and an elated feeling of answered prayers.

Half of my friends practice this at home alone too.

Most people keep this powerful part of themselves hidden from each other, like itโ€™s awkward or embarrassing to do in front of, or for each other. Most of us donโ€™t even know that our friends have hidden spiritual super powers.

As a healer for 28 years, Iโ€™ve learned that pretty much everyone has this ability in themโ€”they just donโ€™t let anyone know.

Iโ€™ve never understood this separation between socializing and the divine. Iโ€™ve prayed for people out loud right in the grocery store. Iโ€™ve performed healings in the bank and at the pharmacy. The Light is everywhere. There is no proper or acceptable place to run a current of Light for each other.

This weekend I visited my 26 y.o. daughter. We met in the living room every evening to visualize. We do this to bring energy and angelic attention to our dreams. Within hours, we are given answers from every direction. I even got the answer to one of our concerns from a random conversation in a sunglasses store!

This weekend, I also met up with a friend for a stroll in some beautiful gardens. As we sat in the sun, she described an upsetting confusion that she was having over an issue. When I said, โ€œLetโ€™s visualize about it.โ€ She thought nothing of it, and plunged right in, with eyes closed. Now, this is my kind of fun afternoon!

When we were each finished, we opened our eyes and shared what we saw and what ideas or epiphanies had come to us. Our few minutes of picturing what happiness, freedom, and peace could look like, will move mountains. She knows it and I know it.

I want us to normalize this kind of communion with the divine right in the middle of a conversation.

Because this is how my daughters were raised, they easily go from sharing whatโ€™s going on, to visualizing the answers with me. They know that things will change and open up for them from this most important part of their visit.

I wish tat we all begin using our time together to step into our power like this.

We need each other. But I donโ€™t mean to lean on, or to drown one another. I mean, that we need each otherโ€™s highest selves to step in and pray and envision for, and with, each other.

In my Wednesday Wave, I hold your names in my hands and pray.

I download Light, protection, and healing.

I step into joy and celebration.

I heal old wounds and purge the past.

I weave and sew to equip our energy fields for a higher level of existence.

I love how many of you are making this a normal part of your week now. While you work and travel, Light is being channeled through you.

Letโ€™s keep bringing our everyday life up to this higher level.
